MATTOON YOUTH WRESTLING CLUB:
It's not one thing we do 100% better than anyone else, but 100 things we do 1% better than everyone else.
We are a self-supporting, non-profit
organization run by volunteer coaches and
parents. The club was created to give
Mattoon area boys the chance to learn the
fundamentals of wrestling before they reach the
middle school and high school level. We
are not funded by the school district but are
allowed to use their facilities. The
Mattoon Youth Wrestling Club has been a charter
member of the Illinois Kids
Wrestling Federation (IKWF) since 1973.
The IKWF includes more than 12,000 members
and250 teams statewide.

Mitch Godden placed 2nd at Mahomet & 4th at Vandalia in spring meets. Austin Daniels placed 1st at Mahomet and 3rd at Vandailia this spring.
