| The Mattoon Youth Wrestling Club held their end of season banquet on 3/26/08 at the Mattoon Eagles Club. Head Coach Bonic spoke and said "this season was one of the most successful seasons in the clubs history".

" Nick Polston placed 4th at the Illinois Kids Novice State Tournament.
" Tyler Godden placed 8th at the Illinois Kids Novice State Tournament.
" Cayden Collings Placed 7th at the Illinois Midget State Tournament.
" Jayvin Quinn Placed 7th at the Illinois Midget State Tournament.
" Cooper Collings, Mitch Godden, & Trevor Edwards advanced to State tournaments.
" Mattoon Had 3 sectional Champions: Nick Polston, Cooper Collings & Mitch Godden.
" Mattoon had 10 Regional Champions: Nicholas Owens, Cameron Philabuam, Payton Smith, Trevor Edwards, Jayvin Quinn, Cayden Collings, Cooper Collings, Mitch Godden, Nick Polston & Tyler Godden.
